Around

Avonwood Manor is set in a quiet road with attractive landscaped gardens and is within a short walk of the popular residential area of Westbourne (often called The Village) with its Victorian Shopping Arcade and main street bustling with its designer gift stores, tea rooms and restaurants.

Westbourne is located between Bournemouth and Poole in the beautiful county of Dorset. Together with its lively resorts and peaceful countryside, Dorset has one of England's sunniest climates.

In addition to this, Dorset has one of the most beautiful and interesting coastlines (now classed as a World Heritage site) with seven miles of golden sands running from the east to the west, continuing past the entrance to Poole Harbour and down to Studland Village in the Isle of Purbeck.

There are many places of interest, most notably the Chines of Bournemouth and Poole which are very much a feature of this part of the British Coast. There are also many attractions along the way from the Tropical Gardens to Westbourne's most famous resident's house, Robert Louis Stevenson, the Scottish Novelist who lived on Westcliffe between 1885 and 1887 and where stands a small statue commemorating his work.

Please do get in touch or, better still, come and see for yourself. We would welcome the opportunity to show you around our lovely Home.
